Meet Kendra .
Kendra has worked with STEAM Academy for 4 years to keep strengthen her Math and Science knowledge.
Math was never Kendra’s favorite subject so getting that extra help from her Math Coach allows Kendra to learn at her own pace.
Tackling those tough problems with her Math Coach , builds confidence. Kendra completed her 10th grade math course with an A+

1. What at did you particularly like about STEAM Academy
I love all the science and projects I get to do. Lego engineering is my favorite. I love all the friends I’ve made there.

I like how we use legos and some of the science experiments. I also like my friends.

I have learned a lot about coding at STEAM Academy. I created my own video game by programming in Lua. I know what are loops, conditionals, variables and basic syntax. Mr. Cole and Mr. Malik are really knowledgeable and they made it easy for me to do what I like.

I like coming to STEAM Academy because everyone is so nice to me. I learned cooking and , coding this summer. I also came for Homeschooling and Miss Nicole was my teacher, I liked her. My best day at STEAM Academy was the water olympics in May.
