STEAM Academy is offer new Enrichment classes on Mondays and Wednesdays for TK-12 grade students. New classes are added often.

Registration is now open for the 2024-2025 STEAM Academy Homeschool Hybrid program and Enrichment classes. Our first regular day of our program will be September 3, 2024 and our last day of school will be May 15, 2025. We are excited to offer NEW options and structure for the 2024-2025 school year:
Charter Funds
Charter funds are accepted for classes, registration, and curriculum used in the class and at home. Attendance cannot start until an enrichment certificate or purchase order is received.

What we offer
Hybrid Program – Our most popular homeschool program is designed to support your homeschool journey by offering core courses that meet California State Standards. This yearlong program gives you the assurance that your child will be taught by knowledgeable and compassionate instructors. We partner with you to ensure your family’s homeschool journey is not only academically challenging but filled with spectacular social activities. The TK-6 grade Homeschool Hybrid program is a drop-off that meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00AM – 3:00PM. Not interested in attending all of the courses? No problem individual core classes are also available.
Individual Enrichment Classes – Designed for curious kids ready to learn something new. Select classes based on interest and schedule. Drop off classes on Mondays or Wednesdays are held between 9:00AM thru 3:00PM. New enrichment classes are added often.
STEAM Days – Want more of STEAM? Register for a full day of STEAM classes and activities on Mondays and/or Wednesday from 9:00-3:00PM. Each class has a different theme, so sign up for both Monday and Wednesday!
Student life
STEAM Academy offers Middle and high school students and families an opportunity to find a community that provides various ways for students to connect, learn, and grow. Students have the opportunity to join clubs, committees, pursue leadership opportunities, attend office hours with instructors, join co-learning sessions, collaborate on group projects and much more. Students may also participate in field trips, movie nights, science fairs, BBQ's and picnics , guest speakers, and many more social activities.
Classes – Our new and Improved Middle and High school classes are ideal for students looking for flexibility. Year-long core classes meet California State Standards and the high school core classes meet the A-G requirements. Taught by knowledgeable instructors these core classes are not only educational but engaging. Our community of learnings can choose from a variety of core subjects such as geometry and biology as well as enrichment classes like Game Development or ASB/Leadership. Core classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00AM – 3:00PM and enrichment classes are offered on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00AM – 3:00PM. Come find your friend group at STEAM Academy.

The annual non-refundable registration fee of $120.00 per family will be automatically charged to your account for the 2024-2025 school year. Your child’s spot is not guaranteed until the registration fee is paid.
Your account will be charged for your selection. You do not need to pay for these charges to enroll, HOWEVER, your child’s spot is not guaranteed until the non refundable registration fee is paid in full. Tuition is due by August 19, 2024
**Remember: students are unable to start their classes until their charter enrichment order or purchase order is received.

Homeschool Hybrid Program
Homeschool Hybrid Program– This program partners with homeschool families to offer full year courses that meet State standards. Classrooms are full of discussions, project base learning and hands on activities. The Homeschool Hybrid program is a family involved program where families and staff collaborate to build a learning environment beyond the textbook. With monthly social activities, family events, spirit days, science fairs and book reports; students, educators and caregivers develop authentic relationships.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays students receive in-person lessons for each subject. While classes are teacher led, students participate in project base learning and classroom critical thinking discussions. At the end of the week instructors will post on Google Classroom the upcoming lessons and independent work designed to be done during school days they are not in class.
Parent-Student Close Collaboration
Instructors will provide feedback on assignments but it is the responsibility of the parents to grade assignments and at home assessments with materials provided to them.

Field Trips & Events
Field Trips
All field trips and events are for STEAM Academy students and their families, no membership is required.
Using charter funds for field trips:
Purchase orders and enrichment orders must be ordered before registering for a field trip
Once we receive your order, we will confirm your trip registration. Without a charter order registration will not be confirmed and attendance will be voided.
An authorized adult over the age of 18 must accompany a minor at any off-site field trip.
Events
STEAM Academy pride’s itself on our family events. In order to execute a well designed and organized event parents often take the lead on planning, donating, organizing and preparing onsite events. While not required, parent’s participation in on-site events are always welcomed.
Before / After Care
Supervised extended learning is available Monday to Thursday. The Extended Learning program offers a familiar, safe, and supportive environment available for elementary through high school students.
Grades TK-6 (per month)
Mornings 7:30-9:00am -$100.00 per month/twice a week
Afternoons- 3:00-5:00 $115.00 per month/twice a week
Middle and High School (per semester)
Unlimited study hall sessions, lunch, extended learning on Tuesdays and Thursdays -$250
*$5.00 Late pick up fee will be applied for each 5 minutes
Mission & Vision
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
